Apex Steel has established itself as one of the main manufacturers of steel roofing, serving both the commercial and domestic market.

Growing at a record rate, Apex needed to relocate its business in a new faciltiy capable to accommodate it's continuous expansion in product range.

Cojo International developed this state of the art industrial estate which at the time was the largest industrial construction site in Melbourne's east.

Overall, Cojo Steel and Associates fabricated and installed approx. 450t of structural steel and 21,500m of purlins and girts.

The main component of the structural steel package is the warehouse and production building structure with a span of 117m and a total area of 14,300m2.

There are 4 bays which accommodate the overhead cranes. Galvanized canopies 9m wide extend over the full length of the building on both north and south sides.

The project also includes a double story office including an undercover car-park with a total area of over 1,600m2 and a truck wash area.
