Locker Group Pty Ltd is a world wide manufacturer and supplier of industrial steel products. When Locker needed a bigger manufacturing facility to accomodate for its expansion, it selected Cojo International to develop a greenfield site in Dandenong. The result was the largest pressed metal plant in Australia.

Cojo Steel & Associates (CSA) were appointed to carry out the structural steel works for the project. The job was comprised of a new production and storage building, two separate office buildings and a new portable R&D facility, with a total built area of over 8,500m2.

Overall, Cojo Steel and Associates fabricated and installed 335t of structural steel and 11,500m of purlins. The contract also included the fabrication of complex steel framing required to be manufactured within 0.5mm tolerances as part of the foundations required for various heavy machinery.
